Job Summary

We are seeking a labourer to join our residential/commercial insulation team. The ideal candidate will be assisting with installing, maintaining, and repairing insulation systems in various building projects. This role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. An insulator plays a critical role in ensuring energy efficiency and safety standards are met across commercial and residential construction sites.

Duties

Measure and cut insulation materials using hand tools and blueprint specifications Worksite preparation and cleanup Install insulation in walls, ceilings, pipes, and other designated areas according to project plans Use caulking and sealing techniques to ensure insulation is properly secured and airtight Utilize hand tools such as knives, staplers, saws, drills, measuring tapes, etc. Load and offload materials Operate various kinds of machinery such as insulation blower Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion Assist lead insulator as required

Qualifications

Prior experience with construction work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of insulation materials and installation techniques is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures Physical ability to lift heavy materials, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks in various weather conditions Reliable transportation; valid driver's license is advantageous Must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
