About Us





Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world's largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future.


The Role





You will work with a team of tradespeople to proactively maintain equipment helping the site to operate safely and efficiently. As a team member, you will make data driven decisions, follow your processes and collaborate with others to make improvements as opportunities are identified.


In this role, you will:



Perform predictive and preventative maintenance checks on a regular basis to ensure safe and reliable production. Install and maintain all measurement and control systems including DCS/PLC, flowmeters, pH transmitters, density gauges, pressure transmitters, level transmitters and online analyzers. Troubleshoot equipment failures and document repairs.


Required:




Grade 12 diploma or equivalent Interprovincial red seal or Instrumentation Engineering Technology Diploma Three to five years of directly related work experience in an industrial or mine environment Ability to work in a team environment Work a rotation schedule and commute to site by aircraft



Recommended:




Experience with Delta V DCS and/or Schneider PLC systems Experience with SAP Troubleshooting experience would be an asset Experience with various instrumentation programming and configuration software

Safety Sensitive Site



Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan's North (RSN).



The Key Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a two week on/two week off rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
