The Keno Hill mine, located within the Keno Hill Silver District in Canada's Yukon Territory. Keno Hill, is one of the highest-grade silver districts in the world, is situated 350 kilometres north of Whitehorse, and lies within the traditional territory of the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyak Dun. • Test and calibrate instruments for heat, pressure, volume, flow rates, and PH factors.
• Experience with safely maintaining, calibrating, installing, testing and troubleshooting pneumatic, electric, electronic, instrumentation devices.
• Advise operations and maintenance departments on status, condition, and known issue of equipment that could affect/improve their ability to achieve production goals.
• Solid understanding of electrical fundamentals and willingness to work with and support the electricians on site.
• Perform all instrumentation process control maintenance duties required. Equipment includes, but not limited to Emerson/Rosemount, Allen Bradley.
• Working with management to provide suggestions for future plant upgrades.
• Maintain and upgrade Mill HMI.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications
==================
• 5 years related experience as an Instrumentation Technician.
• Interprovincial Journeyman ticket required.
• Demonstrated ability to read maintenance repair manuals and drawings.
• Experience installing, troubleshooting and maintaining instruments.
• Experience with PLC programming required.
• Experience working in a remote mining or industrial environment an asset.
• Ability to develop and foster strong working relationships.
• Valid class 5 driver's license.

Work Environment and Job Schedule

This position will require you to work a rotating shift of 14 days on and 14 days off and you will be provided camp housing and meals. Employees will be frequently exposed to; outside weather conditions, snow conditions; extreme cold, extreme heat, potentially hazardous wildlife; moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; explosives and vibration.
