ITR Laboratories Canada has been servicing the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries for over 30 years and has established itself as a trusted partner worldwide in Drug Safety Testing. We are actively seeking an Instrumentation and Validation Technician-Biomedical to join our team as we continue to expand our reach and services.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible to ensure that measurement equipment and control systems are maintained and working properly;
Calibrate and repair instruments and associated equipment;
Works with electronic control systems including micro-processors, sensors, pressures, temperatures and air flows;
Test, adjust and validate instrumentation and control systems;
Consults manuals and interpret diagrams and schematics;
Participate in the provision of documentation for validation protocols;
Performs validations, collect and analyze tests and validation data;
Other related tasks;

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

High school or College diploma in Instrumentation Engineering technology;
Familiarity and experience with Equipment Validation principles and Practices;
Knowledge with Excel and office software;
Good negotiation Skills with outside suppliers;
Knowledge in industrial mechanical;
English is required, functional knowledge and ability to speak French.
