What role you will play in our team

As an Instrument, Electrical, Analyzer at the Imperial Oil Sarnia Refinery you will be responsible for providing technical support for the maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of Instrument, Electrical, Analyzer (I/E/A) systems and equipment.

What you will do

  • Provides technical support for the maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of Instrument, Electrical, Analyzer (I/E/A) systems and equipment.
  • Safely design and support I/E/A systems in accordance with of applicable industry and company standards (GPs, OIMS, Electrical Code, NFPA, TSSA, Tier-1 Analyzer BP).
  • Support Site Safety Programs (Incident Investigations, Near Loss reporting, JLA development, Regular LPOs
  • Support site initiatives to evaluate I/E/A equipment life cycle and support plans (equipment Obsolescence / Bad Actor Identification).
  • Identify opportunities to improve Safety, Reliability and efficiency. Risk Assess and cost justify upgrades to I/E/A equipment.
  • Actively upgrade/improve bad actors.
  • Conduct incident investigation and root cause failure analysis.
  • Support capital projects by reviewing Instrument, Electrical, and Analyzer system designs.
  • Follow Cybersecurity polices for control systems
About you

Skills and Qualifications
  • Must have a degree in Electrical Engineering from a Canadian Accredited Institution
  • Must have a valid driver\'s license and safe driving record

Eligibility to work in Canada
