Job Description

Little Kitchen Academy Fraser is looking for part-time Instructors who are kind, enthusiastic, have a passion for nutrition, love working with children, and feel comfortable in the kitchen cooking and baking. Morning & afternoon, and evening positions are available. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FULL TIME ON SCHOOL BREAK FROM MARCH 14- MARCH 30.

This is a seasonal business with more hours available during school closures: Spring break, Summer holidays and Winter break.

Instructors need to have or be open to obtaining current food handling certification (FoodSafe) criminal record check, and First Aid/CPR/AED Training.

LKA is a VERY fast paced environment and job entails being on your feet for 4 hours or more and will include some heavy lifting.

Job duties include but but not limited to:

-Teaching life skills and food literacy while teaching recipe of the day to students ages 3 to teens.

- Provide support to students and lead instructor during class.

- Opening / closing duties including but not limited to cleaning the environment & a lot dishes , receiving and putting away supplies, keeping the environment clean and organized.

Experience with working with children is a MUST. (MUST BE INCLUDED IN YOUR RESUME)

Cooking / Kitchen experience is a MUST. (MUST BE INCLUDED IN YOUR RESUME)
