Job Description

We are looking for team members to fill the role of Educator at a very special little preschool and Early-intervention Centre. The Little Red Playhouse is a bilingual preschool offering programming for children ages 2-6. Our preschool program places great emphasis on academic learning, social skill development, healthy active bodies, and creating a stimulating and welcoming environment for all children, including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We offer small class sizes and engaging programming to meet the needs of all students. Our pre-school programming runs from 8:30 - 12:00 Monday - Friday with optional afternoon programming such as Social Skills Playgroups and ABA Therapy. We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate team member who is excited to work in a positive and supportive work environment, willing to train for the right fit!

*Qualifications

The Instructor Specialist will Possess:

A CEGEP or University Degree related to Special Care Counselling, Psychology, or Early Childhood Development or Recreational Therapy
Experience working with young children who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Speech Delay Experience applying the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (preferred) Ability to manage behaviour of children Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Organizational and time management skills
