Job Description

Yukon University is seeking a dynamic nurse educator to join the faculty supporting the Practical Nurse diploma program. Reporting to the chair of Health, Education and Human Services, this position will coordinate the organization and running of the Practical Nurse program\'s clinical courses; conduct theoretical and practical lessons through classroom, distance-learning, and/or lab settings; and assist with facilitation of simulation experiences in the human patient simulator lab.

The ideal candidate will have a master\'s or baccalaureate degree in nursing; registration or eligibility for registration with Yukon Registered Nurses Association; previous instructional experience, preferably in an adult education environment; and experience working in one or more settings, including community care, long-term care, and acute care. A valid Yukon Driver\'s license is a requirement.

Consideration may be given to those with an appropriate blend of education and experience.
