Responsibilities include:Ability to work autonomously to tackle a broad scope of customer requirements
Ability to effectively deliver oral presentations to management and customers
Ability to work independently and direct subordinates
Ability to deliver synthetic environment training using flight simulators and other tools
Ability to contribute to development of teaching aids and courseware
Ensure that training delivered is consistent with training objectives and teaching points in the training plan, per applicable training standards
Reporting student progress, issues and deficiencies relative to the course delivery
Ability to travel and work overtime when needed
Mandatory qualifications include:Experience as a military pilot
Previous Military flying instructional experience
Formal training in Instructional Techniques
MANDATORY: Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or with a valid Work Permit
MANDATORY: Capable of obtaining and maintaining both Controlled Goods Clearance and a Government of Canada security clearance is required
MANDATORY: Physically able to work in confined spaces
Desirable qualifications and experience:Verbal French language skills in order to be able to instruct in French
Experience as a search and rescue pilot
Experience as a multi engine fixed wing pilot
Experience with authoring and amending multi-media instructional courseware
Familiar with quality standards, training plans, and training media used to ensure teaching points are met per Training Standards
Airbus 295 aircraft experience
