Position Title Instructor, EAS 100 Planet Earth

Keyano College, University Studies and Environmental Technology, is looking for a qualified contract instructor to teach EAS 100 - Planet Earth. This course is an introduction to the origin and evolution of the Earth and the solar system. This course will be offered on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday during the Fall 2023 term from 1- 2 pm. The course consists of equal parts lecture and laboratory work. The course begins on August 30 and ends on December 1.
The successful candidate will be responsible for instruction, laboratory and outdoor field experience, marking and grading.
The ideal candidates should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in using different teaching techniques, including active learning.
- Knowledge of current educational technology platforms, such as Moodle and Zoom.
- Student-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational skills.
- High level of professionalism, accountability, and integrity.
Advertised Salary Competitive per course contract.
