The role includes classroom/zoom facilitation, support of on-campus learning, and supervision of students in workplace settings. Schedule primarily consists of half-day instruction over eight weeks.

Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities(QSA)
Provide instruction in computer applications to adult learners.
Plan, develop and deliver classroom and workplace instruction as assigned, which will facilitate the learning of work-related skills. This may include incorporating essential skills development, employment preparation, and job search skills into training.
Work individually with students to assist with the development of training plans as it relates to workplace digital skills.
Liaise with the team to support student success and assist with workplace and employment readiness training as assigned.
Manage classroom/lab activities to ensure an optimum learning environment for students.
Manage an adult centered learning environment, establish rapport, encourage aspirations and facilitate problem solving in a non-threatening environment.
Follow any academic regulations and/or policies adopted by Saskatchewan Polytechnic and/or Regina Campus.
Pursue professional development opportunities to keep current with industry and educational requirements.
Practice good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Work cooperatively with program heads and colleagues in an interdependent "team" environment.
Prepare and use appropriate delivery methods for instructing courses as assigned.
Use appropriate methods of evaluating and recording student progress.
Make necessary curriculum adjustments to course content.
Attend staff, program and division meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
At least one of the following:
+ a. Bachelor of Vocational Technical Education degree.
+ b. Bachelor of Education degree with training in adult education and in designing technical curricula.
+ c. Degree in Education with major in subject area.
+ d. Degree in related subject area and one-year instructional methodology.
+ e. An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience. Experience in the use of, troubleshooting and delivery of training at the introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels in current software applications including, but not limited to: Windows 10, Microsoft Office 2016, Office 365, online video conferencing software such as Zoom and keyboarding.
Recent and relevant experience in the design, development, and delivery of short term (1 to 3 days) training sessions in computer application software aimed at adult learners.
Recent and relevant experience in teaching adults in a career/employment related program.
Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment.
Effective instructional ability.
Effective interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills.
Demonstrates valuing diversity.
