Your Opportunity:Reporting to the Central Zone Director of Interprofessional Practice and Education, the eHealth Educator is accountable for the preparation and delivery of interRAI education such as the interRAI Contact Assessment, RAI-HC and/or interRAI LTCF within the Clinical Information System (Connect Care/ Meditech). Examples include: education to Case Managers, professional and non-professional clinical staff members for initial/continuing education to ensure clinician ability, use of standardized clinical terminology, interpretation of clinical assessment outcomes and input into the interRAI suite for tools and electronic care planning. This position supports the sustainment of the integrity of the clinical assessment process as well as improving and maintaining the quality of the assessment data being submitted to Alberta Health for Central Zone. The interRAI/CIS Educator will provide interRAI Contact Assessment, RAI-HC and/or interRAI LTCF education; application of educational components in regard to the appropriate CIS; and auditing, program evaluation, support, coaching, leadership and knowledge transfer to ensure staff have the skills required to meet the continuing care health service standards. The educator will use standardized clinical terminology, their professional competency and the organizational goals based on the Coordinated Access Policy. A variety of strategies will be used to accommodate learning needs. The educator is accountable for appropriate use of resources.
