Lakeland College is currently accepting applications for a remote Sessional Part-Time Instructor (Veterinarian) in the Veterinary Technology Blended-Delivery Program. Applicants should have proficiency in surgical procedures (OVH and neuters), anesthesia & pain management and have availability for lectures running January/February and on-campus labs in February and May. These courses are being offered starting January 5, 2026 and onward into the spring.
Key Responsibilities
------------------------
Provide instruction and support to students in the VT Blended-delivery program, delivering engaging, live online classroom sessions and hands-on, in-person lab experiences. Work closely with the Blended Faculty, for both virtual and in-person settings, including the preparation and grading of assessments. Participate actively in program meetings and collaborate with faculty to ensure effective student learning and course quality. Follow institutional guidelines and accreditation standards to help maintain program quality and support a positive learning environment.

Registered Veterinarian in good standing with the ABVMA Comfortable working with online and digital platforms High speed internet connection Effective time management and organization skills Ability to lead and motivate others and be committed to collaboration, effective goal setting, and professional accountability Previous online teaching experience is an asset
