About Us:

Western Community College is dedicated to delivering high-quality education that equips students with the skills and certifications needed for career success. We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and engaging instructor to teach our Accounting and Payroll Compliance Professional program, which includes three National Payroll Institute (NPI) designated Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) courses.

Position Overview:

The instructor will be responsible for delivering course content, supporting student learning, and ensuring alignment with NPI requirements for the PCP designation. This role requires both subject matter expertise and a passion for teaching adult learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach and facilitate three PCP-designated courses as outlined by the National Payroll Institute. Deliver engaging lectures, discussions, and activities that support student learning outcomes. Provide academic guidance, feedback, and assessment of student progress. Ensure all course content meets the standards and guidelines set by the National Payroll Institute. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student communications. Foster a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) or PLP Designation

from the National Payroll Institute.

Current member

of the National Payroll Institute in good standing.

Minimum two years

of related, professional payroll experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous teaching or training experience in payroll or accounting. Experience using learning management systems (LMS) and online teaching tools. Additional payroll, accounting, or HR-related certifications.

Schedule:

Monday to Friday 5 PM to 9 PM
