NVIT anticipates a requirement for a Term Instructor to teach the following courses within the Aboriginal Community Economic Development program via Hybrid Format. NVIT invites applications from qualified individuals, this position is expected to start in March 2023 and projected to complete by April 2025.



The courses being delivered are in Sault St. Marie O.N. in conjunction with the Council for the Advancement of Native Development Officers (CANDO) as well as Ontario First Nations Economic Development Association. It is arranged that each course will be face to face for the three days, and instruction of an online component. Please indicate which courses you are applying for in your application.

Requirements/Qualifications:



Master's Degree in a related field or have equivalent training and experience; Post-secondary teaching experience with Indigenous adult learners is preferred; Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; Ability to work and problem-solve independently; Knowledge of Indigenous history and cultures.
