Our Supports for Students team is searching for an energetic servant leader who thrives in a collaborative environment. Reporting to the Director of Supports for Students, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting new curriculum implementation, balanced assessment, effective pedagogy, and technology integration for staff and students.

Open to both internal and external applicants, this is a one-year term with the possibility of extension. It's a 10-month position following the school calendar, with the flexibility for extra work as needed. This position works out of Trillium Centre (121 Crimson Drive, Sherwood Park), however travel to all areas of Elk Island Public Schools will be required for this position.

Education and Experience

Alberta Permanent Teaching Certificate Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience Extensive experience and knowledge of effective practices in assessment and instruction Knowledge and understanding of the philosophy and architecture of the new Alberta curriculum Proven use of educational technology to support student learning School and/or system-based leadership experience in improving instructional practice Master's Degree or current enrollment in a Master's program is considered an asset
