One of our government clients is looking for an Instructional Designer with E-Learning-Content Design-Storyboarding exp.
Length: 1 to 1.5 year contract with strong possibility of extension
Location: Toronto, ON - MOSTLY REMOTE but they might need to come into office once a month or so.

BACKGROUND OF THE MINISTRY
Our government client provides advice and makes recommendations to the Treasury Board committee of ministers on how the government spends money on programs and services, how it regulates and how it is managed.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but not limited to):

• They will support and build 7 team e-learning modules
• Must have content design and storyboarding experience
• Take end to end ownerships of content design creation, including but not limited to, development of learning objectives, structure, flow and facilitation guidelines, and development
• Collaborate with our professionals to develop professional presentation content that facilitates engagement and adult learning
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members and partners to bring a new service to life
• Strong planning skills with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines of multiple priorities with ability to self-manage
• Develops and designs courses and curriculum; Edits and develops online learning materials.
• Creates computer-based training (CBT) modules and storyboards. Creates learning experiences and environments.
• Designs learning activities, assignments, and assessments.
• Develops instructor\'s manuals, rubrics, and other teaching tools.
• Collaborates with subject experts to develop course content and manages online learning communities.
• Analyzes, updates, and refines existing online content.
• Trains instructors, students, and employees in how to use learning technologies.
• Facilitates discussion and collaboration via social media.
• Keeps current on best practices in instructional design.
• Writes scripts for video and audio content.
• Works with technical staff to troubleshoot problems reported by users

MUST HAVE:

• Previous experience in instructional design and e-learning modules
• BS, MS, or higher degree in instructional design, education, or related field
• They will support and build 7 team e-learning modules
• Must have content design and storyboarding experience
• Team player that is flexible with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
• High attention to detail
• Project management skills
• High attention to detail
