As Instructional Designer, your main focus will be the design, development and delivery of engaging learning content. Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing engaging content that will help learners acquire knowledge, skills and competencies to support their career development at P&H.

Your day to day activities will include:

• Work with subject matter experts to identify learning requirements
• Plan, develop and deliver engaging e-learning and in-person training content
• Create supporting training materials such as user guides
• Apply appropriate delivery and learning methodology and assessments to meet diverse learner needs based on adult learning best practices
• Review and analyze course evaluation data to measure the effectiveness of training programs against Key Performance Indicators set out by the business
• Administration of the Learning Management System

Qualifications:

• Working towards or completion of a Certificate in Adult Education, Instructional Design, or other related field;
• Experience in designing and developing e-learning content;
• Intermediate knowledge of Articulate Storyline & Rise;
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines;
• Working knowledge of current and emerging instructional design methodology;
• Effective written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to build collaborative working relationships through strong interpersonal skills;
• Experience developing and delivering in-person training is considered an asset;
• Agricultural industry knowledge considered an asset;
• Graphic design experience considered an asset.
