Your Job

As the Instructional Designer on our Data Analysis team, you are primarily responsible for managing, designing, developing, implementing, and coordinating all training programs for our fast-growing team of 30+ Data Analysts. This dedicated training-focused position is the first of its kind. You will have a great deal of flexibility and freedom to use your experience and expertise to design, develop, and even expand the scope of this function. We are relying on your skills and wisdom to guide us.

Our Team

DarkVision\'s acoustic imaging technology captures terabytes of high-fidelity data with each run. Our data analysis team plays a critical role in the commercial process by analyzing these massive ultrasound datasets using our proprietary visualization software. They are meticulous, methodical, and thorough in providing customers with critical insights that lead to multi-million-dollar actions.

What You Will Do

  • Learn the basic responsibilities of a Data Analyst and the onboarding process for new hires
  • Assess and document existing training processes, required resources, and timelines
  • Work with Trainers and Team Leads to understand training plans for new and existing Analysts
  • Create new formalized training processes for new product lines and analysis types
  • Work with Trainers to identify best methods of delivery for specific segments of training (self-directed, group training, one-on-one, or combinations)
  • Update training materials to reflect changes in processes and standards
  • Continually refine and update training programs based on feedback and key changes in software, analysis, or deliverables
  • Deliver basic onboarding to new hires
  • Improve onboarding processes by developing online learning modules for new hires, with clear structure for feedback and follow-up with additional tasks and interventions when needed
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Experience in an instructional design capacity within a technical business environment
  • Experience developing and executing online training programs from start to finish
  • Able to work 100% on-site
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Intermediate to senior level experience in an instructional design or training specialist capacity
  • Experience or certification in adult education or professional training
  • Experience creating training materials for complex software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills
  • Methodical and thorough
