Our team thrives on solving challenging problems and making even the most complex topics seem straight forward and simple to master.Consulting on learning needs in a dynamic and fast-paced environment in cross-functional teams to design digital assets and learning journeys that get the attention of participants and prompt new ways of thinking and acting by transforming material into bite-sized and engaging digital learning content.What you will doThe Instructional Designer will specifically support the Clinical Assessment Technologies (CAT) department training and certification initiatives. This is a new role for the CAT department, so the candidate should have ambitions to advance their career within the Instructional Design space as well as have interest in progressing and advancing CAT\'s training offerings. The candidate should have ambitions to be the CAT SME for our training technology.Responsible for the development and maintenance of online learning content for publishing in the learning management system (LMS) that is in alignment with Worldwide\'s brand standards and content management process.

  • Provides subject matter expertise and project planning to develop and deploy learning solutions to achieve departmental and corporate business imperatives, goals and objectives.
  • Ensures training materials and training requirements are processed and managed in alignment with Worldwide\'s Quality management system.
  • Collaborates, identifies, and defines innovative learning solutions. Assists with content and technology procurement activities. Liaise with external content providers as applicable.
  • Provide updates on status of content development activities to the training management team. Manage the content development life cycle and ensure timely delivery of learning content.
  • Evaluate and assess effectiveness and quality of training content and make recommendations for efficiencies or improvements.
  • Develop, publish, and maintain online content including graphic design where applicable.
  • Managing, monitoring, scheduling instructional design support tasks according to service level agreements in the Worldwide support center.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of processes, policies, SOPs and associated documents concerning instructional design or training.

  • Exhibit basic knowledge of the CRO/pharmaceutical industry and Worldwide\'s processes and procedures.
  • Is resourceful and has excellent knowledge of internal systems and business processes, related to the management of training processes and materials, to support data driven decision making.
  • Proven ability to manage projects of significant scope and complexity with enthusiasm, prioritizing workload with attention to detail while recognizing time sensitive deliverables and meeting quality objectives and timelines.
  • Must be adaptable, successfully be able to prioritize and manage deliverables and workload independently.
  • Working in a constantly changing environment with some ambiguity as this person will be the departments dedicated Instructional Designer.
  • Expertise and understanding of training processes and methods, especially as they apply to clinical research and project management, to ensure compliance with applicable industry standards.
  • Demonstrated strong ability to communicate effectively, professionally, positively, concisely, clearly and consistently to external and internal customers both verbally and in writing.
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task and execute administrative tasks with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management, and organizational and critical thinking skills, and the ability to influence the decision-making process.
  • Proven ability to deal professionally with complex and sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and develop training content in multiple formats for consumption by end users and senior leadership.
  • Demonstrates strong skillset for developing engaging learning content
  • Works independently, takes initiative and has a flexible approach to work assignments and other assigned tasks.
  • Experience using Saba/Cornerstone are a plus
Your background
  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
  • At least 2 years of experience in instructional design experience in graphic, design or instructional design of online learning modules with experience in using technologies that support graphic design or online content development.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English fluently
  • IT literate, experienced with databases and Microsoft based applications, including proficiency in Excel, Word, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient with using Articulate, Rise, Adobe, Html, or other instructional design software.
  • Proficient in developing storyboards, scripts, and conducting learning needs analysis.
  • Travel required (less than 10%)
