Job Summary
The Office of Professional Development and Educational Scholarship (OPDES) offers a variety of academic services to meet the educational and research needs of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS). Services include individual, departmental, faculty-wide and institutional consultations on all aspects of the educational process at the Faculty level; providing support and leadership with curriculum and course design and development; building and maintaining courses for online delivery; assessment strategies; program evaluation; research on teaching and learning; and accreditation.
Reporting to the Director, Online Learning, managed by the Associate Director of Operations, Office of Professional Development & Educational Scholarship, and taking direction from the Lead Instructional Design Assistants (LIDA), the Instructional Design Assistant (IDA) is a member of the Course Development Team. The IDA applies their content knowledge and experience to enhance student learning through educational best practices and innovation in online and blended learning.
