In Store Sales Associate

Job Description
This is a hybrid role designed to have both an in-store retail service component that will require exceptional customer service skills, on the go problem solving, ability to work as a team, scheduled in-store interior design and colour consultations with customers and a genuine interest in interior design/home decorating. The second component of this role includes servicing our commercial accounts with order processing, order tinting, deliveries and ongoing service.
Requested Shifts: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturdays - 12:30-5:30pm
As vendors of paint, blinds & shutters and garage renovations the applicant will be trained on principles of interior design and must be comfortable in a sales based environment. Educating and informing customers about design options and recommendations as well as generating leads for the sales of window coverings, garage renovations and paint jobs for our contractors is an expectation of the role. Bonus pay in addition to the hourly rate will be awarded for all leads that transition into successful business.
Applicant must be able to comfortably and frequently lift heavy paint pails, have a positive attitude while offering relentless customer service that never disappoints. This is a part time role that has the goal of continuing into Summer/Fall 2026. Mature candidates looking for a long term position preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
