Role: Installer
We are seeking an entry level Installer to join our team as a full-time employee. The Installer will be responsible for installing various types of glass products, including shower enclosures, door and glass panels, and railings at customer sites across Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering superior craftsmanship.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine installation requirements.
2. Assemble and install glass products, including shower doors, mirrors, railing glass, etc. according to industry standards and company guidelines.
3. Ensure proper alignment, fit, and finish of installed glass products.
4. Inspect installed glass products for quality and compliance with specifications.
5. Collaborate with other team members, including project managers and installation leads, to ensure successful project completion.
6. Communicate respectfully with customers.
7. Adhere to safety procedures and regulations at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of glass materials.
Qualifications & Background:
1. Ability to read drawings and specifications.
2. 1-2 years of experience in construction.
3. Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
5. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and customers.
6. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
7. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects in a production setup.
Hours:
Monday to Friday - 8:30 am - 5:00 pm / 40 hours week
Occasionally: Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
