is has the immediate opening for an apprentice Patient Lift Installer to join our lower mainland team.
Xact Installs is a company specializing in the installation of overhead patient lifts in new constructed hospitals and long-term care facilities as well as existing facilities throughout the lower mainland.

Job Location: Primarily in new constructed facilities in Vancouver, New Westminster and Burnaby as well as neighboring communities throughout the lower mainland.

Job Summary:

As an installer on the Xact team, you will work with our experienced technicians to complete patient lift installations using a variety of install methods in newly constructed care facilities as well as existing facilities throughout the lower mainland.

Duties will include but not limited to:

Work as a team with the installation lead, using hand and power tools to complete installations as per drawings and using best practice. You will learn all aspects of the installation process.

Transport of tools, materials and hardware

Ensure a clean and tidy work area

Complete final testing of installed product

Qualifying Requirements

Have a strong mechanical reasoning, experience working in trades on on construction sites would be an asset.

Experience using a variety of hand and power tools

Comfortable with ladders and working at heights

Be physically fit and able to lift in excess of 50lbs

Ability to work long hours in a variety of conditions, both inside and out

Be a team player - Work in a responsible and safe manner - Perform well with or without supervision - Hold a clean valid Provincial driver's license

Have a "Can Do" positive attitude

Safety certification would be an asset however training will be provided for the successful candidate. Workers are required to provide their own PPE. Work boots, hard hat, safety glasses and gloves.

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
