Installation Technician for Portable Fabric Buildings

:

We are looking for an installation technician to primarily install, but also dependent on the project scope, repair, maintain and dismantle portable fabric buildings. Your duties include traveling to various job sites in Edmonton and surrounding area, Alberta, Saskatchewan & British Columbia to install various styles and sizes of portable fabric buildings.

To ensure success as an installation technician, you should be experienced with portable fabric buildings, have sound mechanical knowledge, be able to climb ladders and work in high spaces for an extended period. Aerial Lifts, Fall Arrest Protection Certification, CSTS, H2S, First aid are considered a strong asset. You should have exceptional communication skills, work well in a team, and have a passion getting the job done quickly and properly.

Installation Technician Responsibilities:

travelling to local and non-local job sites

installation, maintenance & dis-mantle of portable fabric buildings

maintain equipment

set up work site & clean up after the job is complete

maintaining the work vehicle

general labour on the job site, as well as the shop and yard

Installation Technician Requirements:

experience in the installation of portable fabric buildings

class 5 non GDL driver's license

safety tickets: aerial lifts, fall arrest, CSTS, H2S, First aid

excellent communication skills

ability to climb ladders

ability to crouch, kneel and work in high areas for extended periods

ability to lift heavy objects

ability to read plans, and solve problems on site
