Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Window Blinds Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the precise installation and removal of various types of window blinds, ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service, attention to detail, and efficient time management. The role includes client interaction, vehicle maintenance, and adherence to company standards for reporting and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Install Window Blinds:
Perform precise and efficient installation of various types of window blinds, ensuring they meet client specifications.
Remove Old Blinds:
Safely and neatly remove existing blinds or window treatments prior to installation.
Document Work:
Capture clear photos of completed installations for records and client satisfaction.
Ensure old blinds are disposed of according to management expectations.
Client Education:
Provide clients with thorough post-installation guidance, including:
Instructions on charging motorized blinds.
Troubleshooting tips for common issues, such as overrun blinds.
Payment Collection:
Process client payments immediately upon completing the installation.
Pre-Arrival Communication:
Call clients 30 minutes before arrival to confirm your estimated arrival time.
Install Marketing Banners:
Set up promotional banners as directed by management.
Request Feedback:
Encourage clients to leave a Google review to support the company's reputation.
Vehicle Maintenance Reporting:
Report any required vehicle servicing or repairs to management promptly.
Window Measurements:
Conduct precise measurements to ensure accurate product selection and seamless installation.
Diagnose and Repair:
Identify and resolve issues with existing window treatments, including damaged components or malfunctioning mechanisms.
Address service-related issues during service calls and ensure proper sizing and fit for repairs.
Client Interaction:
Communicate clearly and professionally to understand client needs, offer appropriate product recommendations, and explain the installation process in detail.
Accommodate client requests (e.g., changing cord direction or length) promptly and accurately.
Report Generation:
Complete detailed client reports using QuoteWrite or similar tools immediately after installation.
Signature Collection:
Obtain client signatures upon successful completion of each installation.
Loading Time Management:
Adhere to a maximum of 30 minutes for vehicle loading with blinds, allowing exceptions when necessary.
Vehicle Organization:
Maintain an organized installation vehicle daily, returning any extra items to the production department.
Repaired Blinds Management:
Hand over repaired blinds directly to the production team.
Punctuality:
Ensure timely sign-in and sign-out at the beginning and end of each shift.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in window blind installation, carpentry, or related field preferred.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage time efficiently and stay organized.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift and carry heavy items, if necessary.
Working Conditions:
This position requires travel to client locations.
Must be able to work in various weather conditions and environments.
May require occasional overtime or flexibility in scheduling based on client needs.
