What you will be working on:



Perform cabling, installing, powering up, and troubleshooting electronic security systems, including Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, and Intrusion Systems Communicate actively and professionally, including project updates and providing Daily Reports, and follow the project schedule

Who are we looking for:



Essential qualifications:

1+ year of progressive experience performing cabling, installing, powering up, and troubleshooting of security systems in commercial, condo projects, commercial offices (construction to finished sites) Ability to jack, terminate, dress, test, and troubleshoot all related wiring for Access Control, Alarm, CCTV, and Intercom on both sides Thorough understanding of and ability to communicate blueprints, drawings, work orders, and diagrams Demonstrate strong work ethic, ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to balance a physically demanding workload (standing, lifting, climbing, bending, crawling in confined spaces) and to work in a variety of indoor/outdoor environment Possess a valid Ontario Driver's License (G level)
Additional 'nice to have' qualifications:

You have a good understanding of IT, networks, and computers Experience with ICT Protege, C-CURE (Software House), SALTO, Kantech, Avigilon, DSC, Honeywell, Hikvision, Genetec, Exacqvision, Aiphone, TOA

Physical Demands:



Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.

Must be able to walk, climb, stand, lift, and bend repeatedly.

Will be required to stand for long periods of time.

Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Must be comfortable working at heights.

Travel to various customer sites across the GTA (industrial, commercial, construction sites, etc.), coming to the office/warehouse when necessary.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
