Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. This role involves running cables, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining computer systems, and assisting users with various technical inquiries. The IT Technician will play a key role in enhancing user experience and ensuring efficient IT operations.

Duties

Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues across various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux. Running cat6 cable throughout commercial units. Troubleshoot and resolve VPN connectivity issues to ensure secure remote access. Assist with desktop support tasks, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems. Manage help desk requests using tools such as ServiceNow and Jira to track incidents and service requests. Conduct software troubleshooting to resolve application-related issues. Maintain computer networking infrastructure, including LAN configurations and firewall management. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely resolution of IT support requests. Document technical processes and create user guides for common issues. Provide excellent customer service while communicating effectively with users to understand their technical needs.

Skills

Proficient in troubleshooting computer hardware and software across multiple operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux). Familiarity with IT service management tools. Strong knowledge of computer networking principles including LAN setup and firewall configurations. Excellent english communication skills. Ability to provide high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of Microsoft Office applications and their troubleshooting methods. Experience in desktop support roles is highly desirable.
