Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Installation Technician to join our team. This role requires mechanical knowledge, field service experience, and the ability to work with low voltage systems. The Installation Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet company standards and customer expectations. Hi Signs is a premium signage provider, focused on high-end architectural signage and wayfinding.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair architectural signage (both illuminated and non-illuminated) as well as interior wayfinding signs. Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete installations efficiently. Read and interpret schematics to ensure proper installation of systems. Conduct field service calls to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Work with computer software, and smart devices for scheduling and communication. Collaborate with Project Managers to understand their needs and provide solutions. Ensure safety compliance and regulations during all installations. Document installations accurately for record-keeping purposes. Follow project close-out procedures for site clean-up, handover, and completion.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a service technician or in a similar role such as finishing carpentry, or hands-on construction (detailed work). Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of installation techniques, and electrical is a plus. Experience in construction or project management is advantageous. Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. A valid driver's license is required for travel to job sites. Pay: $26.00-$38.00 per hour
