Ways you contribute:
  • Perform installation and training at customer premises within South-Western Ontario for Fibernetics, and its resellers
  • Take pride in assembling all necessary components for installation (PBX, cables, phones, power supply)
  • Install all equipment and perform test and turn-up with remote support
  • Quickly identify and correct or advise on operational issues in client phone system network
  • Provide customer support and technical issue resolution
  • Willing and able to be called for dispatch for support calls
  • Flexible to work outside of normal business hours from time to time
Primary Requirements:
  • Knowledge in MacOS, Windows and Linux
  • Strong knowledge of structured cabling installation
  • Experience using MS Office
  • Network experience, particularly with SOHO routers, switches and wireless APs
  • A self-starter and are a self motivated individual
  • Can work independently and manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Pride yourself in professionalism when handling customer issues
  • Build relationships easily with your proven interpersonal relationship and communication skills
  • Have a valid G driver's license and a clean driving record
Additional qualifications:
  • Ability to answer support inquiries with excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of business telephone systems usage and configuration
  • Past experience with hardware and software issues
  • Proficient in network configuration, SSH and telnet terminals, web browsers, FTP clients and email clients
  • Cisco IOS experience
