We are seeking an experienced and motivated Installation Manager to lead our Calgary branch installation operations. This role is responsible for managing a team of 10+ technicians, overseeing residential installation jobs, and ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. The Installation Manager is a key member of the management team and plays a critical role in employee development, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and support a team of 10+ installation technicians at the Calgary branch
Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new technicians
Oversee daily scheduling, deployment, monitoring, and billing of residential installation jobs
Review and manage residential installation jobs to ensure quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Manage and enforce workplace safety programs and compliance for the Calgary branch
Oversee fleet maintenance, including service scheduling, inspections, and compliance
Manage building and facility maintenance for the Calgary location
Maintain inventory control of stock products, parts, and accessories
Track, analyze, and report team performance against operational and financial objectives
Promote and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Interface with office and administrative teams to support operational efficiency
Actively participate as a member of the Overhead Door Company management team
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience managing installation, service, or field operations teams (10+ employees preferred)
Strong leadership, organizational, and people-management skills
Experience with scheduling, job costing, billing, and performance tracking
Knowledge of fleet and facility maintenance best practices
Strong understanding of workplace safety programs and compliance
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience in the overhead door, construction, trades, or service industry is an asset
