Under the direction of the Estimation Supervisor, Technician, Inspection I shall evaluate, troubleshoot, disassemble, assemble, repair and/or inspect Endoscopes to assure proper function. Uses a variety of small hand tools and test equipment to make repairs and facilitate disassembly and reassembly.
Completes and maintains accurate service records both electronically and manually. Ensures that safe work practices are employed by observing guidelines established or enforced by Olympus. May be assigned to support business needs by working in other areas outside their primary responsibility.
Proactively participates in the quality systems, quality improvement and "5S" programs as directed by the Estimation Supervisor. Maintains confidentiality of documents and processes.
They are responsible to ensure that all repairs are completed within Mission Critical timelines and ensure the most productive use of the technician's time. This position will impact on customer satisfaction and help create customers for life.
Inspection Technician I must accomplish these objectives while maintaining a clean, well-organized work environment. The Technician will be expected to maintain acceptable standards for attendance and punctuality, and as a condition of employment, work overtime as needed.
