We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven

Inside/Outside Generator & Electrical Sales Representative

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and expanding our market presence through effective sales strategies, specifically for the

Automatic Home Standby Power

sector. This hybrid role will place you in contact with customers, both through our office and in their homes. Past experience as Counter Sales in a related field would be an asset. This role requires a proactive approach to building relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering tailored solutions to a range of budgets.

Duties



Identify and pursue new business opportunities through online generated leads Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention Conduct presentations and in-home evaluations tailored to client needs Build contracts, pricing, and terms to close sales effectively Develop strategic sales plans aligned with company goals to expand market share Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and promotional activities Utilize CRM tools to track leads, manage accounts, and analyze sales data Provide ongoing account management support to ensure client success and identify upselling opportunities Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies relevant to the sales portfolio Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally

Skills



Proven experience in outside sales, counter sales, or technical sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively Excellent business development capabilities and strategic thinking skills Proficiency in account management and relationship building Knowledge of marketing principles and techniques for lead generation and brand positioning Familiarity with electrical systems, including understanding of technical products or services Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for sales tracking and reporting Customer service orientation with excellent communication skills in English. Skills in French are considered an asset Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and adapt to changing market conditions

Work Schedule

Standard Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Occasional travel required; lodging and expenses covered for overnight stays Generac Branded product training provided by the company

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
