Position Summary



The Inside Sales Representative will support Neustar Manufacturing's sales efforts by driving revenue growth through technical sales support, customer relationship management, and product knowledge in truck bodies, trailers, and related equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise in the manufacturing and transportation industry, combined with superior communication and sales skills to understand customer needs, propose solutions, and close opportunities.

Responsibilities



Key Responsibilities



Respond promptly to inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and online channels, providing tailored solutions for truck bodies and trailers. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive outreach and account management. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate technical specifications and feasibility of customer requests. Provide product demonstrations, technical guidance, and consultative sales support to customers. Prepare and deliver detailed sales quotes, proposals, and order confirmations. Analyze customer needs and recommend products and modifications that meet performance and cost requirements. Support outside sales representatives by providing technical documentation, reports, and follow-up communication with clients. Track sales opportunities in CRM software, ensuring data accuracy and timely updates. Participate in product training sessions to stay current with new developments, features, and industry trends. Contribute to achieving individual and team sales targets while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities. Provide feedback on customer needs to improve product offerings. Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review. Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge

Proven experience in sales, preferably in technical or manufacturing environments.



Post secondary education in Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum 5 years of inside sales or technical sales experience, preferably in truck body, trailer, or manufacturing industries. Strong technical understanding of truck bodies, trailers, and related equipment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically, SharePoint, Excel, Output RM systems and sales tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements. Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation. Self-motivated, goal-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Analytical skills to assess market trends and customer needs. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
