As a part of our amazing Nisku team, you will be immersed in the daily operations and maintenance of our onsite warehouse, logistic needs and customer service. Leverage your expertise advising customers & provide an exceptional customer experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with trade/industry knowledge and customer service experience, however, we also provide specific product knowledge training for our team members. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include but are not limited to:

Greet customers and help meet their needs both in person and by phone Sell merchandise, offer alternatives, if stock is unavailable Assist customers with returns and exchange Process payments (cash, cheques, direct debit, charge); count and balance cash at the end of the day Call customers when orders are ready for pick up Maintain current knowledge of products Operate a computerized inventory system Estimate or quote prices Help in the back (warehouse) as needed Other duties as assigned by manager
Expectations when helping in the warehouse, as needed:

Pick orders accurately and in a time frame established by Distribution Manager Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking; ensuring accuracy in each stage of the order process Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment Operate forklifts, hand trucks or other materials-handling equipment proficiently and safely (training available) Help assemble orders and wrap skids as required Unpack and store goods in the correct areas ensuring goods are labeled correctly Assist in Shipping, Receiving, Quality Control and Modification area when needed May be required to drive the company vehicle and make deliveries Keep areas clean and tidy; dump garbage as required

WORKING CONDITIONS

- Front order desk, order counter, telephone; and warehouse
- Weekdays, daytime
- Extensive computer and phone use, some sitting and standing
- Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs. as needed
- Fast paced environment, little 'downtime'

QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years experience with industrial supply sales
- Initiative and a great, approachable, friendly attitude
- Accurate with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent time management, problem solving, multitasking and communication skills
- Teamwork, flexibility, punctual, reliable
- Able to work under pressure, with tight timelines
