Key Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Assist customers and sales reps with all inquiries regarding product, shipping, guidelines, warranty, etc. \xc2\xb7 Daily processing of incoming orders in a timely manner \xc2\xb7 Handle order change and rush request from Dealers and Sales team \xc2\xb7 Continuous improvement in order management. Instill questions and review processes/practices and make recommendations accordingly \xc2\xb7 Communicate with Marketing and Pricing Departments regarding customer pricing issues \xc2\xb7 Regularly communicate by telephone to sales staff, Allied Dept., Marketing Dept, and Credit Department on inquiries, and to assist in facilitating orders for shipping and pick-up. \xc2\xb7 Handling money re: cash sales, etc. \xc2\xb7 Prepare daily schedule of orders and distribute to branch warehouse staff. \xc2\xb7 Communicate with warehouse regarding shipping errors and discrepancies. \xc2\xb7 Run weekly open order report and follow up on open orders with customers. \xc2\xb7 Deal with any issues resulting from delivery, i.e. late shipment, shortages, damaged product. \xc2\xb7 Prepare required paperwork for Freight Claims, and arrange for appropriate credit, and possible re-shipment, resulting from damaged product on shipment. \xc2\xb7 Maintain customer listing \xc2\xb7 Responsible for servicing customers directly by telephone, mail, fax or over the counter \xc2\xb7 Process credits/invoices for customers when required. \xc2\xb7 Back up to other Branch staff Requirements: \xc2\xb7 High school diploma or GED \xc2\xb7 1 \xe2\x80\x93 2 years prior experience in a similar role \xc2\xb7 Effective verbal and written communication skills \xc2\xb7 Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, email, etc \xc2\xb7 Attention to detail in all areas of work \xc2\xb7 Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills \xc2\xb7 Strong work ethic and positive team attitude Location: On site, not a remote position Ply Gem Canada is committed to an inclusive, equitable and accessible workplace.
