Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Inside Sales & Account Manager
to drive business growth and maintain strong client relationships within the trucking and logistics industry. The ideal candidate will have at least
5 years of experience in freight sales, trucking, or brokerage
and a strong understanding of transportation and logistics. This role involves managing key accounts, securing new business, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their logistics and freight needs are met.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
Provide competitive pricing, quotes, and freight solutions to clients based on their shipping and warehousing needs.
Work closely with dispatch, operations, and carrier partners to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
Negotiate contracts and service agreements to maximize profitability.
Monitor customer accounts, address service-related concerns, and provide proactive solutions.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitive pricing.
Qualifications & Skills
5+ years of experience in inside sales, freight brokerage, trucking, or logistics account management.
Strong understanding of transportation, warehousing, and freight brokerage services.
Proven track record in sales, business development, and client relationship management.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
