Frontier Supply Chain Solutions Inc. (Frontier) is a medium sized provider of US and Canadian Customs Services, Trade Consulting, Supply Chain Logistics, including parcel and courier delivery.
Our Winnipeg facility located in the Fort Garry Industrial Park has an opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative to maintain regular touchpoint with our existing custom brokerage clients. This role is focused on relationship management rather than cold sales, ensuring our clients are up-to-date with regulatory changes, satisfied with our services, and positioned for retention and growth.
This is a client-facing position based 100% onsite, with interactions primarily conducted over the phone, followed by email correspondence. The role is commission-based and includes weekly and monthly performance targets for the successful candidate to reach.
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:
Conducting quarterly check-in calls with assigned customs brokerage clients (approximately 75 clients per quarter).
Follow up with clients via email to summarize discussions and action items.
Identify client concerns, gaps in service, or opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with operations, customs brokerage and other internal teams to resolve issues or offer a tailored solution.
Proactively provide clients with updates related to tariff changes, trade regulations, and compliance requirements.
Help clients understand the impact of new policies and guide them in adapting accordingly.
Identify upsell or cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts (e.g., courier or freight services).
Monitor client activity to anticipate churn risk and take preventative action.
Maintain detail records of all client interactions in VTiger.
Generate and present reports on client feedback, touchpoint completion, and retention metrics.
Competencies & Skill sets needed:
1+ years of experience in inside sales, customer service or account management (B2B preferred).
Demonstrated written and verbal communication.
Experience in working in a deadline driven work environment.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
Above average skill in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Microsoft Excel.
Prior experience in a customs brokerage firms or communication with customer brokerage firms an asset.
Previous experience in transportation industry an asset.
Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management or International Business an asset.
