Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative sells and services new and existing accounts. Performs sales and service functions for targeted markets and is responsible for all activities and documentation relating to sales during and after the first point of contact. Is the first point of contact for incoming calls from customers and will ensure the correct party is informed if needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
\xef\x82\xa7 Respond to requests from customers for information regarding our products as required
\xef\x82\xa7 Engage in technical discussions with potential clients
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensure continuous communication with customers regarding delayed or early deliveries
\xef\x82\xa7 Responsible for supplying customer quotes in line with DSI profit objectives with the guidance of the director supervisor in a timely manner.
\xef\x82\xa7 Works closely with appropriate departments to meet customers\' needs
\xef\x82\xa7 Maintains a high degree of professionalism when dealing with staff and other departments within DSI, customers and visitors
\xef\x82\xa7 Monitors entered Sales Orders and communicates with the inside sales team to ensure site requirements are entered correctly
\xef\x82\xa7 Continues to develop and improve the overall relationship between DSI and customers
\xef\x82\xa7 Clearly communicates delivery dates with customers
\xef\x82\xa7 Continuously work to improve the relationship between DSI and all customers
\xef\x82\xa7 Monitors back-order progress and records information
\xef\x82\xa7 Generating sales within our established customers and proactively selling and promoting products
\xef\x82\xa7 Identify and close additional purchases of products and services
\xef\x82\xa7 Identifies appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through sales pipeline
\xef\x82\xa7 Remains knowledgeable on up-to-date on changes and development
\xef\x82\xa7 Enters all orders into Navision while ensuring accuracy and update as needed.
\xef\x82\xa7 Participates with closing the order, matching appropriate paperwork for future reference
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensure all backorders are completed and closed with appropriate paperwork
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensure all quotes are within the authority levels of approval
\xef\x82\xa7 Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions
\xef\x82\xa7 Performs other related duties as assigned by manager
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
\xef\x82\xa7 Technical knowledge of manufacturing practices
\xef\x82\xa7 Familiarity with Territory
\xef\x82\xa7 Excellent oral/written communication skills
\xef\x82\xa7 Bilingual in both French and English is required
\xef\x82\xa7 Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and adaptable to various software programs
\xef\x82\xa7 Has experience in the use of ERP systems i.e Navision.
\xef\x82\xa7 Ability to sense and related observations to business opportunity
\xef\x82\xa7 Has strong interpersonal skills to understand customer needs and requirements
\xef\x82\xa7 Ability to manage customer expectations
\xef\x82\xa7 Ability to remain calm with difficult customers
EXPERIENCE
\xef\x82\xa7 2 years sales or sales support role experience
\xef\x82\xa7 Industry experience would be considered is an asset
