The position is based out of our Trenton, Ontario head office.

The successful candidate would be an energetic individual who excels in a team environment. The Inside Sales candidate is responsible for working closely with the sales team to develop new business opportunities while maintaining an existing book of customer accounts. The successful candidate should be a credible sales professional, that will promote the full range of Electro Cables products and solutions to distributors. A positive attitude and initiative are key traits that are required for this position.

Primary responsibilities:

• Coordinate all parts of the sales process from the initial quote inquiry to final shipment, while working with plant Scheduling, Engineering, Logistics & Management teams.
• Develop and maintain a strong account management plan.
• Manage all quotes, orders, price lists, backlog, logistics, and post customer care.
• Ask questions to identify the customer\'s needs to ensure we grow and maintain profitability.
• Respond to the customer in a quick and timely manner!
• Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing, and negotiating orders or contracts with management & sales team.
• High accuracy and double-checking of work will be required.
• Take initiative to keep improving current systems.
• Set goals with management and track achievement.

Experience, Education, and Skills required:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma.
• Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a sales role.
• Good knowledge of electrical wire and cable products such as medium voltage, industrial, commercial and instrumentation cable (asset).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
• Highly flexible and adaptable with strong organizational and time management skills
• Able to understand the customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and deliver accordingly.
• A team player, adaptable and energetic with a positive professional attitude and manner.
• Self-motivated to improve your business skills and product knowledge.
• Incredible problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
