Chronicle Custom Woodworks is a Saskatoon-based maker of fine staircases, wood doors, railings, and bespoke solid-wood architectural elements. We serve homeowners, designers, and builders who value traditional craftsmanship, professionalism, and long-term quality.

We are seeking a part-time

Inside Sales Representative

who is motivated, disciplined, and self-directed. This role is best suited to someone who enjoys sales work, values follow-up and relationship building, and understands that meaningful results come from consistent effort over time.

This is a permanent, work-from-home position. While the role includes a modest guaranteed base wage, it is fundamentally

commission-driven

. You will get out of this role what you put into it.

Position Overview



As an Inside Sales Representative, your primary responsibility is to generate and convert sales opportunities through prospecting, lead follow-up, and relationship management.

You will communicate with clients by phone and email, introduce Chronicle's products and services, arrange appointments for consultations, and maintain ongoing contact with prospects and existing clients. You will work closely with management to ensure your outreach is well organized, professional, and aligned with the Company's standards.

This role requires initiative, focus, and comfort working independently. While two paid hours per day are scheduled, successful representatives typically invest additional time and thought into follow-up, preparation, and momentum-building in order to maximize commission earnings.

Key Responsibilities



You generate and pursue new leads through proactive outreach and follow-up You conduct professional B2B and B2C conversations to understand client needs and introduce appropriate solutions You arrange showroom visits and on-site consultations for the project and sales teams You maintain consistent follow-up with leads, quotes, and existing clients You build and maintain organized client portfolios and accurate CRM records You promote awareness of Chronicle's full range of products and services You provide feedback to management on client concerns, industry trends, and competitor activity You continually refine your approach to improve results and client experience You submit accurate and timely call logs and activity reports

Requirements



Two to four years of sales experience with an understanding of sales principles; a bachelor's degree is an asset Strong written and verbal communication Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage tasks independently Proficiency with CRM systems and the Google Workspace environment Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to meet sales targets Availability of two paid hours per day, Monday through Friday, with a consistent schedule Must be local to Saskatoon; the Company does not hire out of province or internationally

Compensation



Base pay:

$16-$18 dollars per hour, depending on experience, for scheduled hours.

Commission:

The Inside Sales Representative earns a five percent commission on all new sales they secure. The commission is paid in two stages. Seventy five percent of the commission is paid when the client accepts the quote and the deposit is received. The remaining twenty five percent is paid upon final payment at project completion. This compensation structure is designed for individuals who are motivated to build relationships, maintain follow-up, and grow their earning potential through sustained effort.

Commission Account Maintenance Period:

Accounts remain under the representative's commission structure for twelve months from the date of initial sale. After twelve months, accounts transition back into the general clientele pool.

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
