Horizon Storage is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role focuses on converting inbound leads into sales of our backyard storage shed solutions while building lasting customer relationships. As we expand, this position will also include prospecting opportunities to drive new business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Management:
Respond promptly to and qualify inbound leads from website inquiries, referrals, and marketing campaigns
Sales Process:
Guide prospects through the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract completion
CRM Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, lead tracking, and sales activities in company CRM system
Follow-Up Excellence:
Execute systematic follow-up sequences with warm and cold leads to maximize conversion opportunities
Product Expertise:
Develop comprehensive knowledge of storage shed products, features, pricing, and installation processes
Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and coordinate with delivery/installation teams
Future Prospecting:
Participate in outbound prospecting activities as business expansion plans develop
Sales Targets:
Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and activity metrics
Required Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum 2+ years of inside sales or customer service experience, preferably in building materials, home improvement, or related industries
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with strong phone presence
CRM Proficiency:
Experience with CRM systems and lead management processes
Technology:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, email, and web-based applications
Organization:
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously
Results-Driven:
Proven track record of meeting sales goals and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in construction, building materials, or outdoor structures industry
Knowledge of sales methodologies and lead nurturing best practices
Familiarity with digital marketing lead sources
Previous experience with follow-up campaigns and sales sequences
