We are seeking a driven and motivated

Inside Sales Representative

to support our rapidly growing business. This role is focused on

outbound prospecting

to generate qualified leads for our sales team.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, is comfortable on the phone, and wants to grow into a long-term sales or leadership role within the renewable energy industry. You will play a critical role in expanding our commercial pipeline and helping businesses transition to solar energy.

Significant training and support will be provided to help the successful candidate build solar industry knowledge and develop a successful sales career with Diamond Renewable Energy.

Job Responsibilities



Lead Generation & Prospecting



Conduct outbound calls to commercial businesses to introduce Diamond Renewable Energy and our solar solutions. Identify and qualify potential commercial solar opportunities. Build and maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective commercial clients. Research target industries, properties, and businesses to support outreach efforts.

Sales Support & Coordination



Schedule qualified appointments and hand off leads to the senior sales or project development team. Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, conversations, and follow-ups in the CRM system. Collaborate with sales, estimating, and project teams to ensure smooth transition from lead to proposal.

Client Communication



Communicate the value of commercial solar in a clear, professional, and confident manner. Answer questions related to solar benefits, timelines, and next steps. Follow up with prospects consistently to nurture interest and move opportunities forward.

Performance & Growth



Meet or exceed outbound call, appointment-setting, and lead-generation targets. Continuously improve outreach techniques and messaging based on feedback and results. Develop strong knowledge of commercial solar applications, incentives, and financing options over time.

Requirements and Qualifications



Previous experience in sales, business development, or calling preferred. Comfortable speaking with business owners, property managers, and decision-makers. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage daily activity goals. Highly organized with strong follow-up habits. Confidence to handle objections and rejection professionally. Valid driver's license. Experience or interest in solar, renewable energy, or construction industries is an asset. Professional demeanour and positive attitude.
