Purpose:
The Toronto and GTA Territory Manager has a growth and solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and effectively manage business opportunities from strong client/customer relationships within the alternate care markets (i.e. LTC, Assisted Living/Retirement Sector, EMS, private clinics, and veterinary services).

Job Responsibilities:
Manage existing customer base of identified, targeted healthcare accounts (ambulatory, alternate sites, and corporate accounts) by selling products, upselling total value offerings across medical supplies and equipment portfolio, and making product recommendations for solution selling
Attract new customers and identify new sales opportunities by seeking out new customers for medical supplies and equipment offering and understanding their current distributor needs vs. what you can offer the customer/client
Build rapport with existing and potential customers - strengthen relationships with clients and/or customers through incoming sales calls and assist customers with purchases. Make follow-up calls to encourage customers to make purchases and sell additional products to increase total value offering
Promptly respond to customer complaints and inquiries quickly and efficiently as well as manage any backorder or delivery related issues
Achieve annual financial objectives and maximize gross profit dollars across different categories of offerings (Personal Care, Wound Care, Equipment, Pharma, General Medical, and Falls Management) set by Manager and aligned with corporate objectives
Deepen knowledge base and technical skills of products by working with Category Manager and Inventory Control
Compliance, adherence to, and understanding of CRM system through effective opportunity management, call activities, and forecasting
Develop and execute an annual territory plan with goals and objectives that are aligned with Corporate and business strategies
Effectively leverage Sales Support resources and relevant company staff/departments to address customer needs and identify leads and referrals wherever possible
Prepare estimates and quotes as needed to support opportunity management and revenue generation
Qualifications:
Entry level Sales experience is required
Experience with computer systems including MS office suite and Salesforce is a definite asset
University and/or College education; understanding of healthcare and/or science background is preferred
Excellent customer service
Clear communication and active listening
Ability to process information well
People oriented and experienced in rapport building
Ability to sell and promote
Working knowledge of various technology and software programs
Excellent time management
