Overview



The Inside Sales Representative acts as the primary point of contact for domestic customers, handling sales inquiries, walk-in requests, and product consultations. This role advises customers on CVS products, determines required equipment or parts based on customer specifications, and creates accurate work orders. The Inside Sales Representative ensures orders are processed, monitored through to completion, and the customer is supported with exceptional post-sales service.

Responsibilities



Respond to daily sales inquiries via phone, email and in-person. Provide customer service and technical support to walk-in customers. Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products or equipment. Use Kinetic ERP to create customer quotations, sales orders, engineer jobs, and purchase orders for sales items; review and update job completion dates and monitor orders. Communicate order status updates and changes to customers as required. Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Engineering and other departments to ensure accurate and timely completion of orders. Provide technical support and follow-up to ensure customer issues are resolved. Maintain strong customer relationships through post-sales service and support. Assume other duties as required.

Qualifications



Educational background in Business Administration, Management, Instrumentation Engineering Technology or related is an asset. 3 + years of inside sales experience or equivalent combination of technical education and industry experience. Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred. Strong knowledge of instrumentation products/parts, sales order processes, purchasing and manufacturing workflows. Ability to understand technical specifications, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Kinetic (or related ERP system).

Other Key Considerations



Previous related work experience is an asset. Instrumentation knowledge is a strength.

Drug and Alcohol Testing:

CVS Controls is committed to maintaining a safe and drug free work environment. Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is a mandatory requirement for all prospective employees.

Fitness-to-Work Testing:

A pre-employment fitness evaluation will be required for positions involving physical tasks.

All testing procedures will be conducted by a third party in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, test results will be shared internally on a need to know basis only.

Salary:

Wage is negotiable and shall commensurate with skills and experience.

Work Schedule:

Full-time and permanent position. Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm. Overtime may be required.
