PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB AND CONTRIBUTION TO ORGANIZATION:
To represent and operate within the company's product sales department in an organized, professional, profitable, and customer-focused way, with alignment to the company's operational objectives.
ESSENTIAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following job functions are not all-inclusive. The Associate will be required to perform other job-related tasks/responsibilities requested by the supervisor. Job duties may change as required by the needs of the company.
Focus on sustaining and expanding the product lines and all tasks associated
Maintain and foster existing key accounts in conjunction with the sales managers and other departments
Prepare proposals to clients based on supplied RFQ's ensuring a desirable profit and price competitiveness is maintained.
Accurately input quotes & orders / projects in to SAP
Identify and develop solutions for new applications using application data sheets, drawings, pictures, and customer questioning
Prepare quotations with standard and custom products and solutions
Work with teammates to balance workloads to make the fastest delivery for customer requests
Communicate with Production regarding scheduling, lead times, etc. (weekly meetings - Monday & Thursday)
Track orders through SAP and report on any orders that may require immediate action by Inside Sales Manager.
All other responsibilities as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
4-year degree in business-related concentration
Mechanical aptitude, experience with technical products or mechanical devices
Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, technical procedures, and regulations.
Possess advanced communication skills and the ability to write reports and correspondence
Possess the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers
Self-motivated, able to work unsupervised and manage time effectively
Advanced computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, SAP experience a plus
Ability to understand, interpret and discuss detailed engineering drawings
Ability to assess application needs and provide solutions with custom products
Possess good judgment and decision-making ability
Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of people
Ability to solve math problems and understand calculations
Advanced written and oral communication skills

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
