Duties & Responsibilities:
Specific Duties include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for taking, placing, and ensuring the proper fulfillment of all orders.
Respond to internal and external customers' and outside sales requests in 'real time' for price quotations, order placement, adjustments, and cancellations.
Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure proper support and provide a positive customer experience.
Prepare quotes, order entry, and resolve issues utilizing the ERP system.
Review daily open order and quotes to close and ensure customer satisfaction.
Serve as a liaison with outside sales, purchasing, rigging shop, general fabrication, and manufacturing to expedite orders and meet delivery dates utilizing effective communication.
Communicate with the purchasing department to order or expedite products.
Use the quote process to communicate with outside sales and branch manager to ensure proper pricing for customers.
Coordinate delivery times with branch manager to achieve customer satisfaction.
Ensure inbound and outbound freight is added to quotes and tickets when applicable.
Communicate inventory levels with branch manager to ensure low product levels are known.
Assist in receiving products in the system when assigned.
Provide support to the branch manager and other team members as needed to assist in the smooth operation of the branch and superior customer service.
Keep desk, office area, and showroom clean and organized.
Follow all processes, complete and maintain ISO quality forms as required and complete all paperwork appropriately.
Look for, ask for, and anticipate upselling opportunities within existing accounts.
Be knowledgeable about and abide by all company policies and procedures.
Resolve customer issues as they arise to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and retention.
Endeavor to grow personally and professionally by participating in industry and sales related seminars, workshops, and trainings.
Provide suggestions to management regarding improvements and increased efficiencies in operations.
Record lost sales in the ERP.
Utilize and enter data into the CRM daily.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of High School diploma or GED
At least two years of experience in industrial sales
Basic knowledge of reading and writing in English
Math aptitude
Experience in quote and proposal generation
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience working with a CRM
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
Well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player
Energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image
Intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization across diverse cultures and possesses excellent communication and presentation skills.
Must be able to solve adaptive challenges. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Drug-free and acceptable background and DMV history
Accountabilities for Inside Sales:
Order and quote accuracy
Maintain percentage of order and quote volume per branch
Customer satisfaction by meeting and/or exceeding service, product quality, and on time deliveries
Order and quote tracking and follow-up through use of the CRM
Maintain current efficiencies on product and ERP system knowledge.
Follow all ISO processes and procedures.
