Job Description

Phoenix EDT Inc. is a major distributor and manufacturer of electronic, electrical and automotive wire and cable in North America. We also offer a wide range of complimentary products such as connectors, tubing / sleeving, and wire management products.
Phoenix operates manufacturing facilities which produce cable assemblies, wiring harnesses and control panel assemblies for a diverse industry.

Our Mississauga facility is currently seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative. We are looking for someone with technical aptitude and strong sales skills who can develop long term sales relationships with customers. This position is responsible for maintaining customer goodwill and service levels, selling a wider variety of products to existing customers, and finding and converting new prospects to customers.

Key Responsibilities:



Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call existing or potential customers. Service existing accounts, obtain orders. Identify and solicit potential customers. Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analyses. Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:



Motivation for Sales Skilled at using the telephone as a sales tool. Experience prospecting, opening new accounts and driving a high volume of sales activity. Customer Service Meeting Sales Goals Closing Skills Experience with Business-to-Business Sales Negotiation Self-Confidence Desire and ability to learn the products and services of the company. Presentation Skills Client Relationships Strong Math Skills Technical Aptitude

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
