We are seeking an
Inside Sales Representative
to join our team! Reporting to the Director, Business Development, you will be the 'go to' person for your customer and outside sales representatives' inquiries. You will be responsible for liaising with customers, providing them with product and service information as well as resolving their various issues within a materials manufacturing/distribution environment.
Role and Responsibilities:
Handle customer inquiries and complaints via telephone and email
Generate sales and build customer relationships through phone, email, and online channels
Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
Document and update customer records based on interactions
Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the products or services being sold
Expedite and de-expedite material based on changing customer needs
Proactively troubleshoot any shipping and invoice discrepancies with other teams within the organization
Accurately maintain and carry out the purchase order processing
Monitor orders and maintain projected delivery date updates
Prepare spreadsheets and data for material update calls with customers
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned
Requirements:
3-5 years of relevant experience
Previous experience within utilities or manufacturing sectors an asset
Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business Administration (preferred)
Ability to build strong business relationships with clients
Ability to manage multiple leads and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effective sales interactions
Ability to service customers and accounts with quality, timeliness, and professionalism
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience using a CRM, preferably HubSpot
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
