(MVS) has been providing the construction industry with products and services for over 30 years. MVS is recruiting for the above position. Reporting directly to the Senior Inside-Sales person, the person in this role will be responsible for our Langley location.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Answer customer and sales team inquiries, providing rental/sales solutions and processing contract with accuracy and professionalism.

Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers

Provide timely and accurate information about rental terms, availability, and equipment specs

Prospect new clients through cold calls, networking

Building strong relationships with regular clients to enhance loyalty.

Follow up on customer satisfaction and resolve issues proactively

Coordinate equipment deliveries and pickups by booking courier services from MVS to other locations, customers and vendors

Wear relevant PPE in warehouse and observe Health and Safety policies

Participate in the Health and Safety and Quality Control programs

General labour duties may include sweeping and cleaning shop floor areas and generally ensuring the warehouse area remains organized and tidy

Provide recommended maintenance and repair feedback for the operation of all warehouse equipment and tools

Education, Skills, and Experience

Qualifications will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry, customer service or a related field is required.

1-3 years of successful heavy equipment rental experience is preferred

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written); able to interact professionally with customers, drivers and sales staff

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint and Outlook); Navision (accounting software) would be an asset

Must have Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract and reliable vehicle

Forklift training and experience would be valuable

Able to work independently as well as in a team environment

Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all company safety policies

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
